Protech Solutions is currently looking for an experienced Process and IT Project manager/Business Analyst to fill a position in our clients’ IT team, which works in the manufacturing sector. You will be responsible to manage and execute multiple projects in the following areas for a factory located near Sorel-Tracy:

  • Product development;
  • Order to delivery;
  • Finance and controlling;
  • Human Resources.

The candidate will be required to work onsite at least 3 days per week.

A Process and IT Project manager is holding responsibility for a complete project or a sub-set of projects and is fully responsible to manage and deliver project’s scope within budget, schedule, and quality.

The Process and IT Project manager has deep skills and expertise in the Project management area and has the ability to collaborate across disciplines with experts in other areas.

Project manager responsibilities :

  • Use the business’ project management methods, templates, tools, policies and guidelines;
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects (business value, process change, IT delivery, change management);
  • Plan, organize, report, and follow up the assignment in accordance with the approved project charter;
  • Carry out the work according to agreed scope, cost, and time;
  • Ensure that the deliverables produced are achieving the agreed quality;
  • Manage risks and issues connected with the project;
  • Maintain professional relationship with the stakeholders, cooperates with other project managers and line managers;
  • Regularly communicate information about the assignment to the stakeholders;
  • Regularly report the plans, results, and deviations;
  • Manage team and distribute the work to the staff within the scope of the assignment description;
  • Lead change management initiatives according to the company’s selected methodology;
  • Take over business analysts’ tasks if needed (requirements management, solution definition, facilitate workshops, etc.);
  • Work continuously to improve existing work methods.

Business Analyst responsibilities :

  • Collect, analyse and document business requirements of the company for process and IT solutions;
  • Review and analyse “as is” process, propose “to be” processes;
  • Define solution alternatives and prepare detail evaluation of them;
  • Documentation of current and future processes according to the methods recommended by the employer
  • Conduct studies and evaluation to ensure that the important needs of the user are met by the final work solution
  • Ensure that the requirements are understood and usable by the application development team.
  • Cooperate with business on defining test scenarios and test cases, organize and lead user acceptance and user acceptance (UAT) test meetings
  • Create and maintain end-user communication channels to ensure that everyone working with the solution understands the deployed solution
  • Prepare training material and coordinate business trainings together with team members
  • Support consistency with global processes and application usage
  • Propose changes that make the software product more efficient and / or reduce operating or maintenance costs
  • Work continuously to improve existing work methods
  • Facilitate local or global workshops
  • Lead change management initiatives


  • Bachelor's degree in Process Management, Information Systems Management, Engineering or related field or equivalent training
  • 5 years and more experience as Project Manager/ Business Analyst
  • Good understanding of Order to delivery process and Manufacturing processes
  • Experience in managing projects using waterfall and agile methodologies, PMI certificate will be an advantage
  • Experience in change management, PROSCI certificate will be an advantage
  • Experience in deploying new methodologies, training, and support in a professional and technical environment
  • Experience in Automotive or similar Manufacturing business
