If you’re on a temporary assignment as a Protech associate, then yes. While your supervisor at the work site is your resource for daily work-related questions, Protech is your employer and is available to support you if you have any questions or concerns that are HR related.
If you’ve been hired for a permanent position through Protech, we’ll support you for 90 days while you transition into your job with your new employer. After that, you should speak with your direct supervisor if you have any questions or concerns.
Your Protech representative will be aware of your status, and will continuously work to place you on new assignments. Please let us know if there is any change in your availability, and remember to update your profile on www.protech-solutions.ca to include your recent job experience and any new skills you’ve gained. You can also go to www.protech-solutions.ca to search for current opportunities.
If you’ve found a job you are interested in, click the “Apply Now” button on the right side of your screen. If the opportunity is a good fit for you, a Protech representative will contact you to discuss your next steps, which may include a face-to-face interview.
Your Protech representative will provide you with all the details needed to prepare you and make you feel comfortable for your assignment, such as a job description, work guidelines, and instructions for your first day. First, be sure you’ve read, and are comfortable with the job description provided to you, as well as the policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Guide. If you still have any questions prior to or during your assignment, please contact your Protech representative.
Once you’ve been placed on assignment with Protech, your Protech representative will provide you with the required paperwork, including banking details for direct deposit as well as information on your assignment, a job description and a copy of the Employee Guide, which includes information on Protech policies and procedures.
If there’s any reason you can’t show up to work or need to cancel your assignment, please call or email your Protech representative immediately.
Protech’s weekly payday is Thursday. For your convenience, we offer direct deposit payment, which ensures prompt payment and saves you valuable time.
